CORPORATE HOURLY DAILY PRAYER WATCH
Daily Prayer meetings of Intercession in Reaching the World for Jesus
Acts 1: 1-2: 42
...The apostles devote themselves to prayer 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. 13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. They choose Matthias in the place of Judas 15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) 16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. 21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. 23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, 25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. 26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles. ??42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The good Lord spoke to Apostle (Mrs.) Eunice Gordon about how the church of Jesus Christ was birthed through the womb of prayers. The Lord said that a praying and mission minded ministry, like the Godhead Prayer Ministry must be a people of the word, worship and prayer. The Lord said that the daily prayer life of GHPM will take all faithfuls to another level of fruitfulness beginning this year. God said that as we pray the Holy Ghost will move in our prayers. God said there will be forgiveness, healing, miracles and guidance. We must pray all the time and everywhere and God promised to do His will. God said that for an end-time ministry we are in covenant to pray and get results from our Father God! Prayer is meant to be a daily practice, a habit as natural and important as breathing. Indeed, it is the breath of our life in the Spirit.
On account of this revelation members of the Godhead Prayer Ministry Worldwide are instructed to undertake an hourly corporate intercessory prayer either in the fellowship venues or in homes. The prayer points are about the ministry, vision, sections, Co-ordinators, workers, our families, nations and our reapers assignment for souls this year.
DAILY CORPORATE PRAYER- INTERCESSION & SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY
DAILY CORPORATE PRAYER
Intercession and Spiritual Authority
Spiritual authority is linked with intercession, an intercessor must know his or her rights otherwise he or she cannot stand.
II Corinthians 10:3-6:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Psalm 149: 4-9:
For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7
To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9
To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
Our battle is in the spirit, so our weapons are spiritual. One of the most powerful and potent weapon is Intercession.
WHAT IS INTERCESSION?
-
This is prayer by one who, knows that the Lord has given him authority over all the power of the enemy because the work of Calvary was a glorious success.
-
With this knowledge he destroys every work of the devil with the authority of Christ (through prayers).
-
The devil has no inherent power except that which the believer allows him to have. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18
And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
James 5: 17- 18
, told us of Elijah a man of like passion who prayed that there should be no rain and it rained not, he also prayed that there should be rain, and it rained.
-
God is looking for someone to stand in the gap, because if there had there being an interceding authority, in the following story the whole situation would have been different. Ezekiel 22: 29-31 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
30
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
31
Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
JESUS AND HIS DISCIPLES
Luke 10: 18,
He said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Luke 10:19,
Behold, I give unto you power to thread on serpents and scorpion, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 4:18- 19,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Romans 15: 13-19,
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
14
And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
15
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
16
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
17
I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
18
For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
19
Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
Luke 20: 21,
And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
Peace be unto you; as my father has sent me, even so send I you."
John 14: 12,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENT OF A PRAYER WARRIOR OR INTERCESSOR
In John 17:1-26 we saw that Jesus is an intercessor.
In Matthew 11: 25-27At that time Jesus answered and said,
I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes
.
26
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
27
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
we saw adoration as Christ prays to His Father.
In John 11: 4l-42Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said,
Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42
And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
we saw how He thanked God in His prayers, let us be like Christ.
-
PURITY OF HEART:
Psalm 66: 18-19
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19
But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
-
BELIEVE:
Matthew 21: 22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
-
ASKING ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL:
I John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
WHAT TO AVOID
-
SIN:
Psalm 66:18
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
-
SELFISFINESS:
James 4:3
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
-
DOUBT:
James 1: 5-7
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
-
DISOBEDIENCE:
Proverbs 28: 9
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
