REHABILITATION/INVALIDS

The Godhead Prayer Ministry is called to help rehabilitate the destitute, lonely, deprived and abandoned.  At the Headquarters of this Ministry, we visit people in Rehabilitation centres weekly to feed such persons, for example the blind, physically handicapped with physical and spiritual food.  Also scholarship and helps programmes are put in place to empower them to start off life meaningfully after a deep incisive discipleship programme.

Isaiah 58: 6-7 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house?  When thou seest the naked, that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?"

WIDOWS

Across the Ministry widows are respected and cared for.  Children of widows/widowers are eligible to apply for Apostle Gordon Osagiede Scholarship (AGOS) under the Apostle Gordon Osagiede Foundation (AGOF).

Isaiah 1:17 "Seek justice, encourage the oppressed.  Defend the cause of the father-less, plead the cause of the widow."

Widows Empowerment Program, Abuja

Apostle (Mrs.) Eunice Gordon established this program in 2008 to empower the widows in Karu, Abuja.

• Start up capital was provided for small business enterprises for self empowerment for 100 widows,
• The first instalment of N100, 000 was shared between 35 women, who were screened and discipled about what they need to do with the finance received,
• Fellowship and Church was also started in their location,
• Fortnightly meetings for follow-up counselling and appraisal of financial aid received,
• A Second instalment of another N100, 000 was given to another 35 widows,
• The first batch shared testimonies of their victories in prosperity through payment of tithes, diligent Bible study and prayer life,
• God spoke to many about new business ideas and expansion, so Apostle then multiplied the initial instalment as many are now empowered to support others.
