The five week counselling/discipleship programme uses the ABC of the New Birth (the making of a disciple) manual to achieve two objectives:
-
To teach every new convert (beginner) as well as believers in Christ the major fundamental tenets of the Christian faith. It instructs both the beginner and believer alike the vital and important steps to take to enable them to be firmly grounded in the word of God. The ABC of the New Birth is a compendium of different topics that have been exhaustively compiled for a simple understanding of scriptures for every prospective disciple. Each topic has several Bible references for easy and good understanding, so that the counsellor and counselee may be more acquainted with the Bible- the book of life.
-
To formally acquaint Co-ordinators of the Godhead fellowships in Chapters worldwide with the basic things they require to know to enable them teach and disciple the souls effectively.
Programme covers the following topics over the five week period:
-
Orientation into the Ministry (the vision, aims/mandate and principles of achieving the vision, the three arms of the fellowship and an introduction to the topics to be taught in subsequent classes).
-
Salvation/rededication, concept of being born again, spiritual receptivity, the word of God and prayer.
-
Love and forgiveness, the Holy Spirit (personality and gifts of), Trials and temptations.
-
Fasting, confession of sin, the danger of compromise in the last days, victorious Christian living, mode of fellowship and registration into the Ministry.
-
Anointing for fast, review of revelations and confession of sins.
